Solid Rock began in 2009 when a group of families came together to start a new church in Bentonville. Those families sought assistance from individual churches across Arkansas and from our State Association. Our facilities, the original Pastor's salary, and our operations for many years were supplemented by that outside support. However, we believe that it is time for us to move to the next phase. Ben will be asking the church to vote to begin the process that we call "organization" at our January business meeting. Organization would mean that we are a self-sufficient, self-supporting church without any additional financial assistance or oversight. If you would like to speak to Ben about this, please approach him before the January 9th Business Meeting. Back to Business All of our ministries will resume a normal schedule starting this week. Business Meeting and Fellowship Our January Business Meeting and Fellowship is scheduled for January 9th. The signup sheet for the fellowship is on the Welcome Table. The agenda, proposed budget, and other items are available on the Welcome Table and at SolidRockBentonville.com/agenda. Any member is welcome to bring up additional items, but Bro. Ben requests that you inform him of any additional business before the meeting. Solid Rockers The Solid Rockers will meet this Thursday at 10:30. Axe Throwing for Men The Men will go Axe Throwing on January 14th. We'll eat at 6:30 and go to the Axe Thowery from there. Please let Mike Parker know if you plan to attend. Worship through Giving There are two ways for you to worship through your giving today. If you would like to give online, click here to give using a credit or debit card. There will be a church wide Christmas Party today at 6. Childcare will be provided. There will be a potluck but no gift exchange. Click here to sign up for the potluck or sign up on the sheet on the Welcome Table. The Ladies will be having a Christmas Party as well on 12/11 @ 10 am. There will be a gift exchange. Contact Kim at 479-640-1538 for more info. Grocery Bags We'll be giving away grocery bags from our Food Pantry on Wednesday 12/8 from 9-11. Christmas Break The last Team Kid and Salt light will be 12/15. They'll resume on 1/5. Solid Rockers will not be meeting in December.
