On March 5th, we are inviting churches from across the state to join us for our Organization Service. This will be a time for us to express our gratitude for the support offered to us over the last 12 years before we move into our next phase as a church. Please make plans to attend the service on Saturday, March 5th at 10. Sunday Morning Prayer Time There will be a group of people meeting to pray every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Teen Room. They will be praying about any prayer requests and for our services. All are welcome to join. Parents Night Out The Teens will be hosting a Parent's Night Out on March 12. All proceeds will go toward the Youth Fund. The Teens need a few adults to help. If you're available and willing to help, let Lane know. Solid Rockers The Solid Rockers will meet this Thursday at 10:30. Food Pantry We'll be giving away boxes from our Food Pantry this Wednesday from 9-11. There are five question surveys online and on the welcome table so that it is as convenient as possible for you to sign up. Also included in the survey is a Small Group Availability question. We need to add another Small Group and need to know the best night to schedule it. She has 11 more chemo treatments to go. Lauren Hightower - Lauren and baby came through her surgery well. She still has a lot of recovering to do, but things are looking good. She should have the results from the tumor this week which will help them develop a plan going forward. David Wilson - David's white count was pretty low this week, so they delayed his chemo treatment and told him to stay home for a week. He will have one or two more treatments before they decide how to proceed. Tina Eggar (Carla Wood's sister) - She is still on a vent with covid. She has good days and bad, but seems to be improving. Dennis McGarrah's dad has pneumonia. It is not covid related, but he is in his 90s. His nieces are also sick with covid. Hannah Smith (the Hall's niece) - She is in complete remission from leukemia. They will do a stem cell transplant in February. Randy Hall - Bro. Roger's brother has covid and is very sick. Mechele & Ryan Norris - Both have covid. Our facilities, the original Pastor's salary, and our operations for many years were supplemented by that outside support. However, we believe that it is time for us to move to the next phase. Ben will be asking the church to vote to begin the process that we call "organization" at our January business meeting. Organization would mean that we are a self-sufficient, self-supporting church without any additional financial assistance or oversight. If you would like to speak to Ben about this, please approach him before the January 9th Business Meeting. Business Meeting and Fellowship Our January Business Meeting and Fellowship is today. Please hang around to enjoy lunch with us. The agenda, proposed budget, and other items are available on the Welcome Table and at SolidRockBentonville.com/agenda. Any member is welcome to bring up additional items, but Bro. Ben requests that you inform him of any additional business before the meeting.
