Thank you for joining at Solid Rock. If it’s your first time with us, thank you for being here! We wish we could shake your hand and welcome you, but this will have to do for now. If you have questions about our church, feel free to visit SolidRockBentonville.com for details. If you would like to speak to our pastor, Ben Hightower, feel free to call or email him at (479)366-0004 or ben@solidrockbentonville.com. We’d also appreciate it if you’d let us know that you were with us today. We don’t want to miss you, so please let us know you were here by filling out the form just below this text. Don't worry, we're not going to show up to your house. We just want to have a record of your visit and be able to send you a thank you note.

Announcements

Potluck Fellowship 9/27
We're having a Potluck Fellowship next Sunday after the inside service. This will look a little different than our normal fellowships. First, we'll be serving and eating outside. Second, we need additional volunteers. We're going to have volunteers set up at the tables to serve, rather than having each person serve themselves. If you are still uncomfortable sharing food, you are welcome to pack a picnic. We want everyone to be comfortable participating, so do what's best for your family. Contact Chris Parker to sign up to bring something or to volunteer.

Baby Shower for Mercy & Zin

Baby boy Tecara is scheduled to arrive 9/21. Since we can’t have a normal baby shower, there is a table set up for gifts in the church lobby. Please drop off all gifts today. Contact Angela Bradley with any questions.

Operation Christmas Child
There are only three Sundays left to donate to Operation Christmas Child. We’ve gotten quite a bit, but we still need 48 full size coloring books. There is a box for donations in the church lobby.

Children’s Ministry
Are Children’s Ministry has two parts: Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Sunday morning takes places during the 10:30 service. Team Kid meets on Wednesday nights from 7-8.

Worship through Giving
There are two ways for you to worship through your giving today. If you would like to give online, go to solidrockbentonville.com/give where you can give using a credit or debit card. There will also be a volunteer at the parking lot exit collecting any cash or check offerings.

Music

erlasting God
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong deliverer

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint, you won't grow weary
You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong deliverer

One Thing Remains
Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant through the trial and the change
One thing remains
This one thing remains
Your love never fails,  it never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, it never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your love never fails, it never gives up
It never runs out on me
Your Love
Because on and on and on and on it goes
Before it overwhelms and satisfies my soul
And I never, ever, have to be afraid
One thing remains
This one thing remains

In death, in life
I'm confident and covered by the power of your great love
My debt is paid, there's nothing that can separate
My
heart from Your great love

I Need Thee Every Hour
I need thee ev’ry hour,
Most gracious Lord.
No tender voice like thine
Can peace afford.
I need thee, oh, I need thee;
Ev’ry hour I need thee!
Oh, bless me now, my Savior;
I come to thee!
I need thee ev’ry hour,
In joy or pain.
Come quickly and abide,
Or life is vain.
 I need thee ev’ry hour,
Teach me thy will
And thy rich promises
In me fulfill

A New King

Acts 17:1 ESV Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews. 2 And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3 explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.” 4 And some of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a great many of the devout Greeks and not a few of the leading women. 5 But the Jews were jealous, and taking some wicked men of the rabble, they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd. 6 And when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also, 7 and Jason has received them, and they are all acting against the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.” 8 And the people and the city authorities were disturbed when they heard these things. 9 And when they had taken money as security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,

Ephesians 2:
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
