Solid Rock KidsSRK is our ministry for Infants-6th Grade. Our goals are to tell kids about Jesus, teach them about the Bible, and instill a lifelong love for church in them.
Our Children's Curriculum is written by our in-house teachers and focuses on three elements: 1. Sharing the Gospel in every lesson 2. Covering every major story of the Bible every four years 3. Memorizing 50 core passages of scripture twice in their time in Kid's Ministry Sundays
When you arrive on a Sunday morning, our greeters will check your children in with name tags including basic information about your child. We'll need a parent's name and number to text in case of an issue during the service. Once you leave your kids with us, we will keep them safe until you return to pick them up. We will not release kids to anyone except the person that dropped them off, so make sure whichever adult dropped them off is the adult that picks them up. If you have questions or would like to see our children's areas before the service, our Greeters will be happy to show you around. Infants - 3 Years Our nursery is open every Sunday for Infants - 3 years old. You can drop your Nursery Age child off as soon as you arrive. If you prefer, you are welcome to keep your child with you during the service. We have a cry room at the back of the Worship Center if you need to step out. 4 Years - 6th Grade Keep your Elementary Age children with you as you enter the Worship Area. We worship as a family, so your child will stay with you until the music portion of the service is over. At that point, volunteers will walk all children who want to go to class to class. You're welcome to walk with your child to make sure they get settled. |
Wednesdays
SRK starts at 6:30 on Wednesdays. Our Kids Ministry is for children 4 Years - 6th Grade. We start with a meal and then move to classes. We have a big group story and then move to age specific classes for application and activities. Pickup services are available, so if your child needs a ride, we can help. We don't meet weekly during the summer, however we'll meet for up for special events when those roll around. Sign up for our texts to get updates on the next event. Camp Rock Camp Rock is our summer day camp for kids 4 years - 6th Grade. Kids choose a Track (Sports, Art, or Legos) and spend the week learning about God and learning new skills. Camp Rock will be June 19-22 this year with an Awards Ceremony and Family Day on June 23rd. To learn more, click here. Creek Week Creek Week is our Kid's Church Camp at Budd Creek Baptist Camp in Greers Ferry, Arkansas. It's for children ages 9-12. This year, Creek Week is June 3-6. To learn more, click here.
