MOPS is a place where moms gather to support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” and is designed for them.
MOPS is an international organization that began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 48 years, MOPS has expanded our community to include moms with school-aged kids. In addition, we are partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 70 countries. Our MOPS meetings happen on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. Childcare is provided. MOPS does charge a membership fee to cover materials, however none of this cost goes to Solid Rock. Scholarships are available to Moms who need assistance with the cost. |
Lauren Hightower is our MOPS Director. If you have questions about MOPS, you can email her here.
