“Welcome! We are so glad you’ve found us. At Solid Rock, we believe the church is meant to be a family, not just a place you attend. Our mission is to glorify God by teaching His Word and living as His family, and we're excited to share that with you. We've put this page together to answer your questions, and we look forward to getting to know you soon.”

Ben Hightower, Pastor

Our Sunday Service

Our service is designed to be a welcoming and engaging time of worship. It typically lasts about one hour and begins with a time of singing, where we join together in a mix of classic hymns and modern worship songs. Our pastor will then teach from the Bible. He preaches expositionally through books of the Bible, using the ESV translation. We conclude our service with a time of prayer and an opportunity to respond to the message.

For the Kids

Children gathered around a table filled with colorful LEGO bricks, building and playing at a Bible teaching family friendly Baptist church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Start your time with us by entering through the West Doors. There, we’ll get your kids checked in and let you take a look around if you like.

  • Infants - 2 Years: drop them off in the nursery. They’ll spend the whole service with their new friends.

  • 3 Years - 6th Grade: bring them with you to the Sanctuary. We like to worship as a family and the kids are part of that family. They’ll stay with us ue to stntil the music is over, then volunteers will take them to our Children’s Area.

If you prefer, the kids are welcomay with you. We think they’ll love their classes, but do whatever you’re most comfortable with. We have a Cry Room if they have trouble. Go back out into the lobby and turn left. Our Safety Volunteer can help you find it.

Once we’re done, head back to the Children’s Area and we’ll hand them back off to you. If they’re in PreK, take a left when you get back to the West Entrance. They’re directly ahead. If they’re in elementary, just keep going straight. They’re through the double doors. Make sure you have your check-in tag so we can make sure they go to the right people.

We want to keep all of our kids (including yours) safe, so all volunteers who work with minors have passed a background check.

Special Needs

Our Approach

Every person matters to God and to us, especially kids with special needs. While we do not have a dedicated special needs ministry, we will do our best to accommodate within our existing ministries. We have several parents of special needs kids who work with us to make sure we are sensitive and adaptable to as many needs as possible. To help us do our best to serve your family, please contact our Children’s Director through this form to help us prepare for your child’s visit.

The Overflow Room

We understand that a new environment can be a lot for any kid. If you need a quieter space, our Overflow Room is set up as a low-sensory space for worship. It has a live stream of the service with adjustable volume and is open for anyone who needs it.

To find the room:

  • From the sanctuary, exit and turn right.

  • Pass the coffee area and turn right again.

  • The Overflow Room is through the last two doors on your left.
