Small Groups
We believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Our small groups are the perfect place to build deep relationships, study the Bible, and pray for each other. We have several groups that meet throughout the week in different neighborhoods, providing a place for friends to meet together and do life together.
Our Small Groups run with the school semester. There are currently 4 to choose from. One on Monday and Tuesday night, one Sunday afternoon, and one Sunday evening.

Men/Women’s Ministry

Our Men/Women’s Ministry are a time for men to gather with men, and women with women, for the purpose of pursuing God in gender specific community. These events occur every other month. These are great places to start if you are looking for community!
An example of a Women’s event in the past is having a movie night and an example of a Men’s event in the past is a MEAT up, where everyone brings their favorite meat to eat potluck style and hang out.
Christian women need Christian women friends, and Christian men need Christian men friends. It’s hard to begin a new friendship in the context of a Sunday service if you don’t know many people. It’s hard to start a Discipleship Group without solid Christian friends. Small Group and Men’s/Women’s Ministry is where community happens, relationships are born, and Discipleship Groups can form.
Discipleship Groups
Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”
God calls His followers to a Holy life, “You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy” Leviticus 19:2. At Solid Rock, the things we do are designed to equip us to live a holy life. We do this by focusing on three things,
Reading the Bible (Joshua 1:8)
Sharing the Gospel (Matt. 28:19-20)
Addressing our sin (James 5:16)
Our Discipleship Groups provide accountability for these three tools. These groups consist of 2-3 people of the same gender who are in contact weekly to hold each other accountable to read the Bible, share the Gospel, and confess sin to each other. We want to encourage and push each other to the lives God has called us to. If you have any questions or want to get involved, reach out to our Discipleship Paster, Tyler Evatt @ 501-425-6452 or evatt@solidrockbentonville.com
Service
We believe that serving is one of the best ways to grow as a Christian and become an active part of our church family. Serving is a great way to use your unique gifts and talents to glorify God while connecting with others.
There are many opportunities to serve: On Sundays, we have teams for our Kids Ministry, Safety, Welcome Team, and Worship Team. On Wednesdays, you can serve in our Kids Ministry or help with the meal. Additionally, we have ongoing needs in our Food Pantry, Landscaping, Maintenance, Photography, Encouragement, and Prayer ministries.
Solid Rockers
The Solid Rockers is a ministry for our retired adults, though all ages are welcome to join. They meet on the third Friday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at Village on the Park for devotionals, prayer, and service. They’re retired, so they also get together for meals and events. It is a great place to find encouragement and to serve our church and the community.
Food Pantry
While we're much more concerned about spiritual food, it can be hard to be spiritual when you don't have enough to eat. That's why we started our food pantry. We give away boxes of groceries on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There are no income requirements or reservations. Simply show up, and we'll give you a box of groceries.
