Living Without a Shoulder - Living Together
Teenagers don't want their driving corrected. It's embarrassing and painful. But, the parent who encourages and corrects their teenager during driving produces a teenager that drives better and is safer. The teenager who is never taught avoids the cost of correction, but will always be in more danger. Churches exist to encourage and correct those who are a part of it, but that benefit comes with the cost of being known. If you refuse to participate and be known by the other believers in the church, you pay a smaller up front cost, but you have noone there to help you when you struggle. This week, Pastor Ben Hightower takes us through 1 Thessalonians 5 to see what we miss when we choose to live alone instead of together.
