We know we're all going to die, but we like to pretend that we've got plenty of time. It won't happen unless we're sick or are a lot older than we are now. We know that we have an expiration date, but we live like that date is a long way off. But, that's not necessarily true. Your expiration date could be this year, this month, or even this week. This week, Pastor Ben Hightower challenges us to live as if our expiration date is coming soon.

God has a reputation of being kind of harsh. Pillars of salt, flooding the world, and the fire from the sky come to mind. People really struggle with following a God who seems to fly off the handle. But what if God isn't flying off the handle? What if we're just ignoring all the things God was patient with before He got tired of being patient? What if the problem is not His reaction to sin, but our perspective on sin? This week, Pastor Ben Hightower takes us through 2 Samuel 6 to look God's reaction to one man's sin that seems sudden and harsh, but is actually pretty reasonable.

We like a fresh start. The diet starts on Monday. We start budgeting on the 1st of next month. I'm going to be better after the New Year. Today, Pastor Ben Hightower takes us through Joshua 26 to see what the Israelites challenged his people to do with the fresh start they were about to receive.
