I love that place. I love that show. I love that guy. We "love" everything so much that "love" starts to lose its meaning. We're not the first to have this problem, which is why Paul wrote that we should "let our love be genuine". This week, Pastor Ben Hightower continues through the story of Abraham and asks us, "What does genuine love do"?
If Jesus offers forgiveness for sin, that don't we have the freedom to sin as much as we want? If God offers forgiveness, then why does the Bible put limits on our behavior? This week, Pastor Ben Hightower continues through the life of Abraham to discover the difference between punishment and consequences.

The story of three of the worlds major religions begins with one guy: Abraham. You'd think a guy like that would be a hero among men. You'd think he would be righteous, courageous, and steadfast. Instead, we read his story and find a guy that was sinful, cowardly, and wishy washy. Why would God choose this guy of all people to introduce Himself to the world. This week, Pastor Ben Hightower begins a new series on the Life of Abraham by introducing us to this man and showing us what God was doing when he chose this most Averagest Guy Ever.
Ben Hightower has been the Pastor of Solid Rock since December 2019. Before moving to NWA, Ben was a Youth Pastor in Malvern, Arkansas and a Church Planter in Fayetteville, Arkansas as well as Columbia, Missouri.
